Technology that manages marketing processes and multifunctional campaigns, across multiple channels, automatically (automated messages).

Process of developing relationships with prospects at every stage of the sales funnel, and through every step of the buyer’s journey.


Aka “Account Based Marketing“.
B2B strategy that focuses sales and marketing resources on target accounts within a specific market.


Fictional character that communicates the primary characteristics of a group of users, identified and selected as a key target.

Aka “Entreprise Ressource Planning“. Modular & unified software designed to integrate the main functional areas of an organization’s business processes.


Aka “Customer Relationship Management“. Software for managing, centralizing, storing & tracking relationships with your prospects & customers.

Home automation

Aka “Domotics” or “Smart home”.
System for controlling lighting, climate, entertainment systems, appliances, access control and alarm systems.


Branch of technology which deals with robots (which often replicate human or animal, partially or totally). Not always related to AI.

Drone (UAV)

Aka “Unmanned aerial vehicles“. Flying, swimming, walking… robot that can be remotely controlled or go autonomously through software-controlled plans.

Internet of Things (IoT)

System of interrelated devices/objects, providing the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. Include learning, reasoning and self-correction.


Digital record of transactions. Each transaction added to a blockchain is validated by multiple computers on the Internet (such as BitCoin).


Aka “File Transfer Protocol“. Standard network protocol used for the transfer of computer files between a client and server on a computer network.


Aka “Virtual Private Network“. Network that is constructed using Internet to connect remote users or regional offices to a company’s private, internal network.


Set of practices that automates the processes between software development & IT teams, in order to build, test & release software faster & more reliably.

Product Owner (PO)

Lead user of the system or anyone with a solid understanding of users, the market place, the competition and of future trends for type of system being developed.

Full Stack

Developer who works with both the front & back ends of an IT solution (can handle all the work of databases, servers, systems engineering and clients).


Aka “Sofware as a Service“. Software distribution model in which a third-party provider hosts applications.

Big Data

Large volume of data collected (mined for information and used in machine learning projects, predictive modeling and other advanced analytics applications).


Aka “Radio frequency identification“.
Form of wireless communication used in many different ways to uniquely identify an object, animal or person.

Edge Computing

Computing paradigm which brings computation & data storage closer to the location where it is needed, to improve response times & save bandwidth.
